Looking for any information on the Collins family that lived in Texas… around the Waxahachie, Dallas/Fort Worth, or any area around there. My mother's name was Joyce Levina Collins, and her brother was Bobby Eugene Collins …they were children of James Ed Collins, and Rosie E Jones Collins. I’ve been searching for information on the family for many years. Our mother moved back to Texas in 1959 we believe and lived with her parents. According to the death certificate, her last name was Joyce Teel... we assumed she remarried - our father, Thomas Couch, died in a terrible work accident April 1960 and we were raised by our grandparents.

Rosie had a sister named Betty Jones Turner. Bobby Collins lived in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia and was a Staff Sergeant who was in the Vietnam/Korean Wars. He died in 2003 and is buried in Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Georgia. We found this out recently.

James Collins died around 1962 and Rosie Collins around 1964. My mother Joyce died in 1976. She was born in 1934 and married to my dad, Thomas E Couch. My brother, Tom, remembers a relative named Roger Darrell when he was a small child. My dad and mom had six children… Tom, is the oldest son, and I am the oldest daughter. We both are in our 70s today, my brother and I, and we are just trying to find out what happened to that side of the family.... relatives etc.
